Carrollton, Georgia
Jon Greer grew up in Carrollton, Georgia, attended Central High School, and is a partner at Greer Tisinger, LLC. Jon graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 with a BA in Business. Thereafter, he continued his studies at the University of Georgia where he completed a joint JD/MBA program. In 2006, Jon graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law and tied for first with a 4.0 in his MBA program from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business.

After finishing his undergraduate degree, but prior to his continued JD/MBA studies, Jon worked as a claim representative for one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. While in that role, Jon was afforded the opportunity to see various types of insurance claims, including wrongful death, personal injury, and property damage. Jon learned the claims process from intake to resolution and how claims are handled, processed, and evaluated by the insurance company. While working on his law degree and MBA, Jon clerked for Ed Tolley, a highly respected Athens, Georgia attorney, focusing almost exclusively on Ed’s cases that involved serious personal injury or wrongful death.

Jon realized his passion was in the area of personal injury and made the choice to return to Carrollton, Georgia after law school to make this the primary focus of his law practice. Jon’s experience with the evaluation process by the insurance company provides him with invaluable insight when representing and negotiating on behalf of our clients. While personal injury and wrongful death cases are Jon’s primary focus, Jon also practices general civil litigation.

John and his wife, Susan, live in Carrollton, Georgia with their twin daughters. The family attends Victory United Methodist Church and Carrollton First Baptist Church.
